To ensure proper care of your wearable paintings, please avoid wear during high-intensity activities where it may be roughly bounced around and knocked against things. For example — rock climbing, moving heavy boxes, camping in the woods where you’re doing a lot of tree climbing and frolicking, spending all day in a hot springs. You are wearing a teeny tiny sculpture, and carelessness can lead to breakage. It is in any piece of jewelry’s best interest to exercise a little extra care, no matter the metal and medium. This will ensure your piece of jewelry lasts a lifetime, and longer.

Can your jewelry be worn in water?

Yes, but we recommend removing any piece of jewelry before wearing in water to maximize care and longevity.

Please remove your jewels before exposing to any sort of soaps, sprays, or harsh chemicals.

However, if you must take a dip in the lake with your mountain and sea jewels, they will survive and find themselves blessed by the sea. Please be sure to dry your jewels completely once you finish your swim.

Warranty

All jewelry comes with a 3 month (90 days from purchase) warranty. Accidents happen, especially as adventurers. If any accidental damage is done during this time frame, you are eligible for a replacement or shop credit. Please send a contact form with your order number and name in the subject and a brief description and picture of the jewel. If you do not have a picture, please describe the scenery to the best of your ability. Alternatively, if you purchased at an art fair, please send a contact form with your order number and name in the subject and payment method used, market attended, and brief description/picture of the jewel in the message. You must send the piece of jewelry back to us. We will send you a shipping label, and will send a new piece within 2-3 weeks of acceptance of your damaged piece.

Refund Policy / Ring Exchange

All sales are final unless your jewelry arrives damaged. Please ensure you order the correct ring size. I will not refund for the wrong size.

You may exchange for a different size ring at no cost to you. If your ring does not fit as you desire, please reach out via e-mail (sagebrushavery@gmail.com) or send a contact form with your order number and name. I will send you a shipping label and once your ring is received, the correct size will be shipped out.

How is your jewelry made?

My teeny tiny landscape sculptures are made out of polymer clay. I use a teeny tiny needle tool and sculpture knife to carefully piece together the sculptures bit by bit. Each and every piece is made intentionally, slowly, and is impossible to recreate. My inspiration for each piece comes from my time spent living on the road in a van, and from all the spontaneous trips I take to the Wild Wild West, which is where I truly belong. As well, I am blessed to live only one mile from one of the darling Great Lakes. I am deeply inspired by the Great Lakes, and they are the true inspiration behind every single seascape.

All sculptures are permanently bonded into the bezel with a special sealant and covered with a glaze for the final shine.

I always try my best to source jewelry bases that are stainless steel and sterling silver to prevent tarnishing and longevity. Other types of metal include zinc alloys, brass, zamtek, and pewter. All bezels have been through an extensive trial process to ensure tarnish resistance and overall durability.

All of my jewelry bezels are sourced from trusted small businesses and metalsmithers.

My silver rings are made with Art Clay Silver. A silver powder mixed with an organic binder that is fired away, leaving you with fine 99.9% silver.
