A Creative Partner is a crucial, high stakes, and key role to the business. You are essentially running the business with Avery.

This is a seasonal, part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time. Every Creative Partner starts with a three month trial period to ensure a good fit.

Pay: $23/hr for with 2% sales commission for market days + 50% sales commission of their own hand-crafted goods accepted into the brand. Production pay will be negotiated case by case and discussed once you elaborate what you bring to the brand.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting Avery with market tasks such as setting up and breaking down, engaging with customers, restocking inventory, processing sales, etc.

  • Occasionally set up and break down the 10×10 Mountain Jeweler booth solo, loading/unloading inventory and displays, process sales, engage with customers, craft a welcoming and positive environment for customers.

  • Brainstorming with Avery for new jewelry and product ideas, as well as booth and display upgrades.

  • Using your own artistic ability to produce products and artistic goods for the Mountain Jeweler brand.

  • Building upon Avery’s new ideas for the brand, helping create and produce artistic goods.

  • Assist with social media presence, taking photos and videos, creating social media posts, and helping garner a social media presence.

  • Building connections and networking with customers and other small businesses.

What You Should Know:

Mountain Jeweler is a growing brand. There is always room for growth and change. As Mountain Jeweler grows, terms are subject to change. For example, Mountain Jeweler will eventually upgrade to a 10×20 booth. You must be comfortable with this growth.

Pay will be negotiated once per year, with opportunity for raises.

Market days are long and hard, these roles are best for a high-energy, dynamic, and versatile individual. You must be comfy with people! We do not want someone who sits on their phone at markets. We desire someone who can create an experience, be themselves, and ready to hold fun and meaningful conversation with event goers.

Cancelling last minute will hurt the business as it is a commitment and promise to show up. Emergencies are always acceptable, but please do your best to be available and open on the weekends.

Every Sales Associate starts off with a three month trial period to ensure good fit. This is a seasonal position, running primarily from May-November of each year. If deemed a good fit, you will be invited back year after year.

  • Maintain a high-energy and positive environment.
